Colombia. Soluteq S.A. recently received recognition from the insurance company Positiva, in the Emergency Plan Program category, at a meeting held in the city of Cali where they rewarded the most successful initiatives of the affiliated companies in the department of Valle.
"We won this award, which is related to our company's commitment to the management of occupational health and safety, an issue closely linked to guaranteeing customers the supply, maintenance of the quality of life of employees and facilities," said Gabriel González, soluteq's operations leader.
The chemical company was one of the seven recognized that received the scientific endorsement of the Colombian Society of Occupational Medicine, granting it recognition as an organization that carries out preventive actions for occupational or research accidents.
"This award is in line with the work we have been developing with a view to certifying ourselves in OHSAS 18,001, for which we have already been externally audited, and we are waiting for the concept of the certifying committee," Gabriel concluded.
