Colombia. The Colombian Association of Corrosion and Protection (Ascor) confirmed that from November 28 to December 1, the Coating Application Audit will be carried out, which will be held in the city of Barrancabermeja, Santander.
This space is aimed at QA/QC Engineers, Intervening Engineers, Coating Inspectors, and technicians specialized in quality assurance in coating application processes. Participants must have at least one year of experience in coating inspection processes and/or quality assurance activities or auditing procedures in coating application.
The following are some of the topics that will be observed in the Auditing: Fundamentals of corrosion in metal surfaces, Auditing and integrity in corrosion control programs, Technology in Industrial coatings for corrosion control, Characterization and design of coating schemes for corrosion control, Regulations in surface preparation for coating application, Methods of application of industrial coatings, Workshop of handling and care in processes of application of coatings by sprinkler, among others.
