International. Six years after doubling its manufacturing plant in the UK, Elcometer confirmed that it has already begun expanding its production capacity in Manchester.
The additional manufacturing space of 17,200 square feet will allow the company to meet the growing demand for NDT ultrasound range range test and coating inspection equipment.
"In recent years, Elcometer has launched a number of new products that have greatly increased the demands of our existing production sites around the world. This expansion allows us to meet the growing demand for our test equipment and expand our product portfolio, allowing us to enter new markets ahead of our strategic plan," said Director Michael Sellars.
This expansion adheres to existing facilities in Liege, Belgium, where a range of products are manufactured for the analysis of the physical properties of coating formulation, and in California, where ultrasonic thickness gauges and defectscopes are designed and manufactured.
