Colombia. From August 16 to 19, the Colombian Association of Protection and Corrosion (Ascor) will carry out the Coating Application Audit.
The course lasts 36 hours and will be held in the city of Bogotá. It is aimed at QA/QC Engineers, Intervening Engineers, Coating Inspectors, and technicians specialized in quality assurance in coating application processes. Minimum experience of one year in coating inspection processes and/or quality assurance activities or auditing procedures in coating application is required.
Some of the topics offered by the course are Fundamentals of corrosion in metal surfaces, Auditing and integrity in corrosion control programs, Technology in Industrial Coatings for corrosion control, Characterization and design of coating schemes for corrosion control, Regulations in preparation of surfaces for coating application, among others.
