Colombia. The Colombian Association of Corrosion and Protection (Ascor) will present the Training Program for Supervisors in Coating Applications that will be held from May 24 to 26 in Bogotá.
The course aims to train and qualify the personnel in charge of the supervision processes in surface treatment and coating application activities to execute these activities according to standards and technical norms.
It is aimed at supervisors and foremen who are currently working in supervision and management activities of personnel dedicated to surface treatment and preparation processes. They must also have demonstrable one-year experience working in coating application monitoring activities.
The course lasts 27 hours and contains topics on basic corrosion fundamentals, technical standards in surface treatment, methods of application of coatings, handling and maintenance of equipment to apply coatings by spray method, technical regulations in quality assurance for coating application processes, among others.
