International. Elcometer presented its latest line of Start-Up Adhesion meters, under the name Elcometer 506.
These lightweight, portable and easy-to-use adhesion meters are available in analog or digital versions and are suitable for adhesion measurement by starting coatings up to 50 MPa (7250psi) either on the job site or in the laboratory.
The design of the Elcometer 506 ensures that uniform force can be easily applied throughout the range by rotating the pressure gauge crank gently, ensuring repeatable results with an accuracy of ± 1%.
The system also allows adhesion testing of coatings on flat, curved, thick and thin substrates – including metal, wood, concrete and other fibrous materials.
