Mexico. The National Association of Paint and Ink Manufacturers (Anafapyt) confirmed that from May 14 to 16, 2013 will hold the "Anafapyt Latin American Coatings Show", which will be held at the WTC in Mexico City.
For reasons of logistics and agreements in bald spots, the Association confirmed that this event will not have a link with the EXPO LACS 2013, organized by the Quartz Company, and that it would be held in the month of July. Anafapyt previously had an agreement with Quartz, however, the manufacturers expressed their discomfort in certain organizational issues that forced the association to withdraw from the agreement.
According to the president of Anafapyt, Javier Maldonado, this agreement was not renewed because "suppliers expressed widespread discomfort due to the high cost of stands, in the same way manufacturers expressed the need to have more high-level technical talks", reasons that were not solved according to the association.
Anafapyt also commented that several manufacturing companies and multinationals will continue to support the "Anafapyt Latin American Coatings Show".
