U.S. USA During the first day of the American Coating show, the winners of the American Coatings Award were announced, an award that recognizes the most outstanding innovations and research in companies in the paints and coatings sector.Basf won the award with the research "Improving Waterbone anticorrosion coatings via new binder concepts", by Ohiana Elizalde, Stephan Amthor and Collin Moore. This research stood out for focusing on the topics of greatest interest at the moment for the industry: water-based systems with the lowest environmental impact, as well as the design of high-performance coatings for demanding environments.
