Mexico. Bloomberg named PPG's Vice President for Latin America and General Manager of Protective and Marine Coatings, Adriana Macouzet, as one of the 500 most influential people in Latin America in 2023.
Macouzet has been in management positions within coatings giant, PPG, for more than 16 years. In April, the company completed a $15 million investment to upgrade its powder coating production facility in Brazil as part of its capacity expansion plans in Latin America.
In Mexico, PPG supplies a wide range of products at the Dos Bocas Refinery, one of the flagship projects of Andrés Manuel López Obrador's six-year term.
It also announced last year that it will invest US$11 million in its Querétaro plant to double production capacity for its powder coatings.
