Mexico. The Chemours Company achieved Great Place to Work certification in Mexico for the sixth time at its facility in Altamira, Tamaulipas.
Chemours, a global chemical company with market-leading positions in titanium technologies, thermal and specialty solutions, and advanced performance materials, now has 15 Great Place to Work certifications globally, representing 92% of its employees.
"We are very proud to have received this certification for the sixth time in Mexico. It is very important to us that our teams have the best and safest workspace possible, as their talent is key to creating a better world," said Marlene Loredo, regional director of Human Resources for Chemours Mexico.
"We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse place for our teams to reach their full potential," Loredo said.
The Great Place to Work certification is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Chemours.
The company's scores are summarized in Chemours Mexico's Great Places to Work profile, with key highlights including data such as 91% of employees saying it's a physically safe place to work.
89% said they were proud to tell others that they work at Chemours. Meanwhile, 88% shared that they feel good about the way they contribute to the community.
On the other hand, 85% mentioned that they feel they can be themselves in their workplace.
