United States. AR Iron becomes one of the only companies in the western U.S. to pass the rigorous testing set by the American Association of Architectural Manufacturers (AAMA) to offer powder coatings that comply with AAMA 2604 and AAMA 2605.
AR Iron has been listed by Tiger Drylac, an AAMA powder coating manufacturer, of AAMA 2604 and AAMA 2605 approved coating applicators, which the company says demonstrates its reliability and excellence in the industry.
AAMA 2604 coating offers AR Iron customers a five-year warranty and AAMA 2605 coating provides a substantial 10-year warranty.
"After undergoing strict quality control testing, we are now one of the few companies on the West Coast to achieve this certification. This further solidifies our commitment to providing the highest quality products and services to our clientele," said Tony Sclafani, General Manager of AR Iron.
"Achieving AAMA certification is another step in the right direction to continue developing our business in the Southern Nevada industry," added Sclafani.
AAMA certification ensures that AR Iron applies coatings of the highest quality, as it requires powder-coated samples to undergo extensive testing, including salt spray and moisture chamber testing.
These assessments evaluate the adhesion, gloss and overall performance of the powder coating, ensuring resilience and longevity.
Powder coating is a surface finishing process involving electrostatically charged surfaces, which is suitable for both metallic and non-metallic surfaces. AR Iron also offers unlimited color options including finishes, RAL, textures, and veins that are perfect for the Las Vegas environment.
Powder coatings are composed of dry mixtures with four main components: binders, pigments and dyes, fillers and additives, which together contribute to the performance and appearance of the coating.
