International. Groupe Berkem, an expert in bio-based chemistry, announces that it is considering merging its main subsidiaries, Berkem, Eurolyo, Lixol and Adkalis, grouped within its parent company Berkem Development.
Through this internal restructuring, Groupe Berkem aims to simplify its organization and optimize the interactions between its various business areas.
The synergies created between the different business lines and activities thanks to the Group's diversified experience allow it to address the multiple needs of companies in terms of sustainability and respond effectively to their expectations.
This project is a continuation of the reorganization carried out in recent months, which structures the Group around four main high-potential businesses:

Health, Beauty and Nutrition Division: Development of plant active ingredients for the cosmetic, nutraceutical and food industries.
Hygiene and Protection Division: Production of solutions dedicated to the protection of people, food and products against pests and damage caused by fungi.
Industry: Synthesis of resins for the printing ink market, or even technical vegetable oils and solutions for the adhesives and road signs markets.
Olivier Fahy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Groupe Berkem, commented: "Groupe Berkem has built its identity around solid experience, strengthened over the years by targeted acquisitions that have enabled us to address high-potential niche markets."
"In addition to simplifying our Group's operations, the aim of this merger is to unite us around a common project, namely to integrate bio-based chemistry into conventional chemistry," Fahy continued.
"We know that our unique expertise and that the many possible synergies between our different industrial activities will allow us to respond even more effectively to the issues facing the industry today in terms of ecological transition," Fahy added.
