Colombia. The Association of Andean Technicians in Coatings (STAR) recently held its Annual Meeting where it confirmed its new president, its vice president and executive secretary. The new president of STAR is Gabriel González, who in a previous period had already held this position and resumes to lead the association again.
For their part, the current vice president, Viviana León, and the executive secretary, Consuelo Peláez, remain for the coming period.
Gabriel replaces Julián Restrepo, Inpra Latina columnist and consultant, who was in office in the last period. Julián showed great interest in making contributions to the sector from the Association and enriching the technical issues, in addition to strengthening the ties of cooperation with Inpra Latina.
