International. Stahl, based in the Netherlands, announced the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer and Board Member of Stahl Holdings BV effective 1 January 2019. Frank Sonnemans (57) takes on the responsibilities of the current CFO, Bram Drexhage, who has decided to retire from Stahl in mid-2019. Sonnemans currently works at Kendrion N.V., which is listed on NYSE Euronext Amsterdam, where he served as CFO since February 2013.
Sonnemans, Dutch, holds a Master of Business Administration and a Certified Public Accountant degree from VU Amsterdam University and began his career at Unilever in 1985. At this company, he held various finance positions until 2004, including Chief Financial Officer Frozen Fish International in Germany, Director of Mergers and Acquisitions in London, Director of Finance and Supply Chain Unilever Foods in Mexico and Vice President of Investor Relations unilever in Rotterdam. He was CFO of Provimi from 2004 to 2009 and served as CFO of Koninklijke Ahrend N.V. from 2009 to 2012.
