Mexico. Last Friday, May 25, the tenth anniversary of the plant in operation was celebrated at the Dow Querétaro plant, together with 9 years without accidents on site.
This plant was inaugurated in 2008 with an initial investment of $600,000.00 MM pesos. It exports approximately 20,100 tons per year to the Caribbean, Central America, South America and the United States. More than 90 technologies are produced on site and up to 4 innovations are developed per year.
"The human element is the only one that is not in the periodic table, but which makes it possible for everything to happen, so today I want to recognize mainly all the collaborators, who make it possible for this plant to continue operating successfully," Daniel Martínez García, Operations Leader of the Querétaro Plant, shared during the ceremony.
The plant offers 120 direct and indirect jobs and 400 in the state of Querétaro; and has 65% of the total volume produced in Dow Mexico, and represents 17% of sales in Dow Mexico.
