Colombia. The Colombian Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) presented its list of NACE Cathodic Protection Courses CP1, CP2, CP3, CP4 and CP Interference for 2018.
Once the courses have been completed, the NACE Certification is an international certification with which those who carry it out can work anywhere in the world.
Cathodic Protection is a technique that allows to control the corrosion of the metal by protecting it with elements of another metal that corrodes more easily, reducing maintenance costs. It is a system that protects steel, water and fuels that are transported by pipes and stored in tanks from corrosion. It protects infrastructure such as roads, bridges, ships, docks and oil platforms, among others, from the effects of corrosion.
