Mexico. Fabtech Mexico, the exhibition of the manufacturing and metalworking industry in this 2018 celebrates its fifteenth edition on May 2, 3 and 4 at the Citibanamex Center, Mexico City, where it will offer in 30 thousand m2 of exhibition everything related to the industries of paints, automotive, industrial welding, furniture, petrochemical, electronics, electrical, packaging and packaging, plastics, appliances, pharmaceuticals and aerospace, among many others.
This year more than 575 companies from 30 countries will participate with more than 400 machines that will be doing live demonstrations, which translates to 1,750 tons of equipment. An attendance of 13,000 people from Mexico, Central America and South America is expected to explore the latest in technologies of various manufacturing processes, in addition to meeting with industry experts and learning with the educational sessions.
The event is held annually alternating between Monterrey and Mexico City and consists of 4 major manufacturing processes:
• Weldmex- shows welding, automation, and robotics technology.
• Fabtech- covers training and manufacturing as well as technologies for metal pipes,
laser cutting, punching and bending
• Metalform, stands out with metalforming technology, tools, presses, dies,
machining and software
• Coatech- focuses on technology for surface handling, application systems
of industrial paints and coatings.
Fabtech Mexico, is aimed at all those people involved with the manufacturing industry and metal mechanics, involved in evaluating and buying machinery, from Presidents, General Managers, Welders, Plant Managers, Facilities Managers and Engineers, "What we seek as organizers, is to provide in one place, the most advanced services and technologies for each process of the manufacturing industry, "said Cecilia Vargas, Marketing Director of Fabtech Mexico.
Another important aspect of Fabtech Mexico is the strategic alliance it achieved with the Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry, (AMIA), to offer a keynote lecture with the theme "State of the Automotive Industry in Mexico" and with the Automotive Cluster State of Mexico. A complete program of current conferences, which will help the sector to know collaboration strategies, commercial alliances, competitiveness and innovation.
