Bolivia. From April 29 to May 1, the first edition of the Expo Color and Painting 2018 will be held, a technical-commercial fair that will be held on the premises of the Aeronautical Circle of the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
This fair in Bolivia plans to bring together some 34 companies and more than 100 brands in the sector of surface coatings, paints, varnishes, glues and accessories.
Nicolás Petit, founder of the Bolivian Association of Color and Painting, organizer of the fair, said that the most important local companies in the sector, including factories, importers, distributors, national brands and international brands, will participate in the fair.
He indicated that in parallel to the fair, technical training conferences and the 1st Bolivian Seminar of Paints, Varnishes and Glues will be developed.
The specialized fair, which will cover a total area of 2,000m2, hopes to attract professionals from engineers, architects, designers, technicians and painters, as well as hardware stores that sell paints and painting companies, construction companies and government agencies.
Petit pointed out that the paint market in Bolivia has great growth potential and has developed new technologies worldwide. "The objective of the fair is to contribute to the professionalization of the sector, inform, and train through companies and institutions, about the new trends in color and paint, occupational safety and respect for the environment," he added.
