Mexico. It was confirmed that Kathion Chemie of Mexico, a specialty chemical distributor with expertise in the Latin American coatings market, has closed a partnership agreement with the U.S. company, Specialty Polymers Inc.
Headquartered in the state of Nuevo Leon, Kathion Chemie de Mexico distributes specialty chemicals and raw materials in the coatings, inks, construction, cosmetics, personal care, and agrochemical industries throughout Mexico.
"Kathion Chemie of Mexico has a strong reputation among coating manufacturers in the Latin American market, and the expansion of the Kathion product line to include water-based resins will represent a huge benefit to its customers," said Jorge Seuc, regional sales manager for Specialty Polymer. "We are thrilled to bring Kathion as our distribution partner in Mexico."
The new partnership will allow the numerous Mexico-based paint, coating and adhesive manufacturers to have access to the innovative, high-quality latex emulsions and adhesives that Specialty Polymers is known for in the United States and Canada.
