"In The Moment speaks to our society's desire to disconnect and be present," said Erika Woelfel, Behr's vice president of color and creative services. "Spruce blue, soft grey and lush green come together in a cool shade that evokes a sense of sanctuary and relaxation in the middle of our lives. In The Moment traverses multiple styles of global, coastal, modern design and pairs well with other soft colors to create harmony for indoors or outdoors."
The Behr 2018 color of the year is presented alongside the annual Behr 2018 color trend palette, a 20-tone spectrum that is predicted to influence décor and design in the coming year. The new palette captures the ever-changing perception of "home," brought to life today in New York City with a BEHR Pop-Up Trend Home experience at the iconic Grand Central Terminal.
