International. Beckers Group announced the launch of a tool to quantify the sustainability of its coating products. The Beckers SI app is designed for architects, designers, building planners, and steelmakers: individuals or companies involved in the planning or construction of a building and looking to work with green materials without compromising on design.
For different applications such as roofing systems or facades, the Beckers SI application shows users the collective impact of the materials used to make the coating, as well as the value that certain functions add to a construction. This allows them to make a cultured decision and can also be rewarded by green building rating schemes such as LEED and BREAM.

The Beckers SI app offers an easy way to find more durable coating materials and clearly shows that our coatings can do much more than decorate," said Bernd Vogel, Chief Technology Officer at Beckers.

The Beckers SI app is based on the Beckers Sustainability Index and is part of the company's digital sustainability reports.
