International. As part of the last European Coatings Show, Eckart presented a "Gallery of Brilliance" with products and applications of fine silver pigments, high-gloss chrome effects and a very chromatic ruby red color.
A unique combination of shine, metallic effects and opacity are the hallmarks of the new Silvershine 400 series. This was achieved thanks to the advancement of silver dollar technology: new grinding processes, a very narrow distribution of particle size plus the careful selection of high-quality aluminum shot, produce very bright silver colors and excellent resting behavior, from soft and structureless effects to spark with good tone.
The fact that fine silver and medium-fine silver pigments are almost free of dispersion properties contributes to the attractive optical properties of Silvershine 400. Even when they are dyed with organic pigments, their metallic character remains. Suitable applications for the solvent-based Silvershine 400 series are high-end coatings and premium ink systems, for example for vehicles, consumer electronics and household appliances, also for the graphic arts industry.
