International. X-Rite Incorporated and its subsidiary Pantone LLC presented during the European Coatings Show in Germany their range of color measurement and management solutions for the paints and coatings industry.
The company showcased its latest solutions to help attendees accurately represent, measure and ensure the consistency of paints and coatings used in the automotive, electronics and other industries.
X-Rite previewed Color-Eye, a new solution that helps customers buy products whose colors accurately match the colors of the items they have in their homes. Shoppers can use their smartphones with a color calibration card to measure the color of any item they wish to match. Color readings are synchronized with a retailer's shopping mobile app to show customers a variety of matches or coordinated products.

The X-Rite cab features complete, integrated, and comprehensive solutions for color specification, communication, measurement, management, and reporting. With the theme "Color as I Imagined It", the booth presents solutions for retailers and paint manufacturers. Attendees will learn how to achieve accurate and consistent color in the most complex global supply chains when they integrate X-Rite Pantone into their workflows.

- Ci7860 Benchtop Spectrophotometer – The measuring instrument reduces the margin of error in communicating color specifications for plastic, coating or textile products in the supply chain, and ensures the highest level of precision and color control throughout the production process.
- Ci64 portable sphere spectrophotometer – a unique high-performance instrument to ensure color accuracy, especially on metallic, reflective or irregular surfaces.
- RM200QC Spectrocolorimeter – compares the colors of laboratory samples or coated surfaces with reference standards, and can generate reports that can be transmitted to other partners in the supply chain.
- Color iMatch software – used for paint formulation and enables fast and accurate color analysis to optimize each recipe for cost and color accuracy.
- Color iQC Software – Optimizes color measurement, reporting, and logging to maintain a centralized, cost-effective color control process.
