BYK celebrated the inauguration of an ultra-modern laboratory for its application technology in Shchyolkovo, near Moscow. BYK marked the opening with HOMA, a manufacturer of dispersions and emulsions based in Dzerzhinsk, Russia.
In a space of more than 125 m2, the company claimed to have created all the necessary conditions to provide fast and professional support and innovative additive solutions to its customers in the Russian-speaking territories.
"For quite some time now, we have been on the lookout for a business partner and an optimal site concept for a Russian laboratory. An important aspect of this process for us was to assume a reliable local partner, which allows us to make ideal solutions available for the Russian market. We are delighted that we can now devote ourselves to even closer and more goal-oriented work with Russian paint and plastics manufacturers," said Dr. Stefan Mössmer, Director of Paint Additives at BYK.
