The event specialized in coatings, Chinacoat2016, which took place from November 30 to December 2 at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China, was attended by 30,852 visitors.
Of that number of visitors, 26,091 corresponded to the local market and 4,761 to the foreign market. The fair had a gross exhibition area of 65,000 m², 1,070 exhibitors from 32 countries/regions, including 210 new exhibitors, 14,650 representatives of exhibiting companies attended the fair and 3,313 visitors joined a total of 45 sessions of technical programs.
The organization confirmed that the 2016 show in Guangzhou attracted a record number of visitors. The total number grew by more than 14% and 4.3%, respectively, compared to its last editions in 2014 in Guangzhou and 2015 in Shanghai.

"The show allows me to find new technologies and products that could help my company improve production efficiency," said Qiong Dong, Manager of Shenyang Zhongyuan Chemical Co., Ltd., China.
Chinacoat will return to Shanghai from November 15 to 17, 2017 at the new Shanghai International Exhibition Center (SNIEC), where the global coatings community will once again gather.
