Colombia.
Pintuco announced the launch of two color systems for auto and motorcycle repair shops in Colombia.
Pintuco developed for the Colombian market a solvent-based paint with anti-sedimentation technology that avoids the use of traditional paint agitation machines in points of sale and workshops.
The first system called LV900, is aimed at workshops that seek the productivity and cycle times of solvent-based systems but with the low levels of VOC emission (Volatile Organic Compounds) of water-based systems. LV900 complies with the regulations of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) and with its anti-sedimentation technology reduces energy consumption, equipment maintenance costs and potential paint losses due to lack or excess agitation.
On the other hand, for conventional workshops and paint warehouses with an automotive vocation, the company presented the NM-500, a color system with the same anti-sedimentation characteristics that reduce the space requirements for handling and storage, providing a remarkable coverage for its technology of high solids and a high versatility in the preparation of color.
To accompany the workshops and paint warehouses with an agile response in color formulas of vehicles around the world, Pintuco® has arranged a modern Color Center for Colombia, located in its facilities in Rionegro Antioquia, this Color Center operates in a network with two more centers, one in Detroit - United States and another in Sydney - Australia, making its software, with more than 150,000 formulations and other color tools, up-to-date and assist LV-900 and NM-500 customers.
