Ferro Corporation announced that its Board of Directors is studying possible strategic alternatives for the Company in order to improve the value of the shares. The Company stated that it has not made the decision to participate in one or more operations resulting from the Board's exploration of strategic alternatives, and there can be no assurance that any transaction will occur or, if completed, the terms or timelines for the transaction will be known. The Company has engaged Lazard Frères & Co. as its financial advisor.
