In its sixth edition, PaintExpo has broken new records in terms of number of exhibitors, visitors and internationality. The numerous requests, projects and orders with which the 10,522 visitors of the leading international fair traveled to Karlsruhe, Germany, from April 19 to 22, 2016 provided great satisfaction to the 501 exhibitors from 27 countries.
In turn, visitors were fascinated by the wide and representative offer as well as by the presentation concentrated around the techniques of industrial lacquering.
"PaintExpo is the leading trade fair at all for the lacquer sector and has developed in a very positive way for us. In the last fairs, we had always had a good growth in terms of visitors, but in this year's fair there has again been a clear increase in specialized visitors. We have established excellent contacts and were able to draw some first conclusions directly at the trade fair," says Martin Weidisch, Senior Marketing Specialist at J. Wagner GmbH.
This satisfaction is the one that predominates after the four days of the fair in almost all the 501 participating companies, a growth of 6.8% compared to 2014. The exhibitors came from 27 countries, the proportion of foreign companies was 31.5%. In 13,437 m2 of net exposure area (an increase of 6%), they presented products and solutions of wet lacquering, powder coating and Coil Coating. The PaintExpo presents a clear plus of 14.8% also in the number of visitors, which has grown to 10,522. 28% of the specialized visitors had traveled from other countries to Karlsruhe. The countries with the most visitors were Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Poland, Austria, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Sweden and Turkey. In total, specialized visitors from 74 countries from all continents attended the PaintExpo.
