As part of its business strategy to expand its participation in Latin America, Intertox, a Brazilian company in the chemical safety, management and environmental technology sector, reported that it is investing in the markets of Argentina and Chile.
To succeed in this challenge, the company includes in its expansion strategy Rodrigo Alfaro, who lives in Argentina and Alex Steinhaus, resident in Chile, as international technical staff, in order to increase business with offers of solutions and services in these countries.
The company, which since last year has been entering Latin America, started in 2016 with a primary focus on the Argentine business. "The idea is to bring all the experience of Intertox, achieved over 16 years of experience in the chemical safety market to meet the needs of Argentine and Chilean and international companies operating there, with customized solutions adapted to the needs of each client," said Fausto Azevedo, director of Intertox.
For his part, Alex Steinhaus, said about Chile that "safe administration, both from the environmental point of view, as well as the safety of people and chemical products that mining companies require as raw material for their production processes, will be the main focus of the initial presentation phase of Intertox's competencies in the Chilean market".
In Argentina, the resolution of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, which inserts the new chemical safety standards for industries and companies in the country, such as the mandatory application of the GHS system (Globally Harmonized Classification and Labeling of Chemicals) for pure substances, whose mandate ends on April 15 of this year, opens the space for Intertox products and services in the country.
Intertox is committed to the high technology of its Safetychem software as a flagship in Latin America. The solution is designed for the automatic creation of chemical safety documents such as MSDS, SDS, labels and emergency form for the transport of chemical products, complying with current Brazilian legislation and other countries.
