Dow Corning reported that during the upcoming American Coatings Show in Indianapolis (April 12-14) it will exhibit at booth #249 the last four additions to its range of products for the coatings industry.
These include Dow Corning® additives 108F, 8590, and resins 2405 and 3055. In addition to their performance, these silicone technologies support environmental protection in different ways, including minimizing volatile substances, saving energy and avoiding the use of tin catalysts, as described below.
"Dow Corning continues to add new distinctive solutions to our range of multifunctional silicones to help customers improve the performance and sustainability of their paints, inks and coatings," said Jessica Ding, Dow Corning's coatings market leader. "Our additives solve processing problems and deliver exceptional performance, and our silicone resins significantly improve the resistance of protective coatings to moisture, corrosion, extreme temperatures and weathering. Dow Corning will continue to invest in new silicone technologies that meet the ever-changing needs of our customers."
