Mexico. PPG Industries in Mexico announced that its automotive refinish division began expanding its participation in the nation by including within its ranks four new national distributors: Etapel, Redemex, Sautek and Tecnología en Pinturas del Sureste.
The director of automotive refinishing for PPG Mexico, Héctor Blanco, commented that "to offer 100% satisfaction to our end customers, we have to work shoulder to shoulder with the best, to ensure that our products and services exceed expectations and demonstrate once again why we are the best."
Data from the Center for Experimentation and Road Safety in Mexico (CESVI) indicate that Mexico registers around 3.5 million accidents per year, so the automotive repair and repainting market is benefited by the high demand for services.
