International. Thomson Reuters has ranked Arkema for the fifth consecutive year among the top 100 innovative companies and organizations in the world, in all business activities. The Group was among the three French companies selected for this award.
The fifth edition of this award places France in third place among the countries represented, with ten companies and entities awarded. This Top 100 Global Innovators ranking identifies the most active innovative companies and research structures.
The selection is based on four criteria: range of patent application success, the global scope of the patent portfolio, the influence of a patent calculated from the number of citations in trade publications, and the volume of patents.
The information company Thomson Reuters was created after the purchase of Reuters by The Thomson Corporation, which occurred on April 17, 2008. Thomson Reuters shares are listed on the Toronto And New York Stock Exchanges. The company has its operational headquarters in Midtown Manhattan, New York.
