Colombia. The Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Colombia confirmed that the negotiation of the list of demands for the next two years, between 2015 and 2017, of the company Pintuco S.A and its two unions was resolved, after the accompaniment made by the ministerial portfolio.
The members of the Negotiating Committee of the company Pintuco S.A., (belonging to the Orbis Group) and the unions Sintraquim and Sintrainquigas sectional Rionegro, Antioquia, reached an agreement after almost seven months of negotiation and whose collective agreement of work signed was accompanied by an act of guarantees.
Pintuco is a recognized organization in the paints and coatings industry throughout the Andean region, and has production plants in Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador. The company recently obtained, during the framework of Camacol, a recognition in its 70 years as a leader in construction in Colombia, granting it the institutional decoration in the Silver Medal degree, for providing services to the sector.
Likewise, Pintuco joined the Construction Cluster and was part of the signing of the agreement of wills of this same network. This business development strategy, led by the Mayor's Office of Medellín and the Chamber of Commerce of Medellín for Antioquia, seeks to promote actions of change in companies to achieve higher growth rates in a profitable and sustainable way, in addition to identifying new businesses based on knowledge and technology.
