International. The Supervisory Board of Lanxess has appointed Dr. Hubert Fink to the Board of Directors. On October 1, 2015, the number of members of the Board of Directors will thus increase from three to four. Fink currently leads the company's Advanced Industrial Intermediates business unit.
On the Board he will carry out responsibility for the Advanced Intermediate Products segment with the Advanced Industrial Intermediates and Saltigo business units and for the high performance materials business unit; he will also assume responsibility for the role of the global Procurement and Logistics group and the Production, Technology, Safety and Environment (PTSE) function, which combines all production-related services.
Board Supervisor Dr. Rolf Stomberg said: "At Hubert Fink, we have appointed an experienced expert within the company to serve on the Lanxess Board of Directors. His expertise in chemistry and technology will be a valuable asset. The Board wishes him success in his new role."
