United States. An F-4 Phantom fighter jet on display at the New England Air Museum was restored with coatings and technical equipment donated by PPG Industries' aerospace business, to honor the aircraft of U.S. Air Force service during the Vietnam War.
PPG donated a high solid finishing coating technology for military and defense camouflage, a glossy white finish and a primer.
Kevin Lee, senior account manager at PPG selected coatings that would provide a durable system with good protection from ultraviolet (UV) light that must retain its brightness and color for years.
