International. Axalta Coating Systems announced the launch of its new Alesta High Corrosion portfolio, a new generation of powder coatings for outdoor and indoor use.
This new coating technology was designed with excellent film leveling, used in agricultural and construction machinery, heavy vehicles, electrical equipment, air conditioning and household appliances, with durability and transfer efficiency, allowing correct coverage.
"Our new portfolio of coatings can replace two-layer processes with a one-layer process, with high corrosion resistance and a wide range of colors," explained Ricardo Abisambra, general manager of Axalta Coating Systems Colombia.
Among its main advantages, in a single application it is resistant to UV rays, being compatible with most pretreatment systems, saving energy and process cycle time and curing.
Likewise, this new portfolio is designed to serve the automotive, truck, electrical, construction, HVAC, appliances, ACE – agricultural and construction equipment segments, since it can reach more than 3,000 hours or more of resistance to salt spray chamber.
