This resin was developed to offer optimal balance properties of elasticity and hardness. The good abrasion resistance makes this resin ideal for use as a sealant. A complete coating system, in which the sealant is based on this technology, also proves to have a very good resistance to stains, so it works in coatings for furniture and parquet.
In addition, the resin known under the brand name Ebecryl 854 offers excellent flow, even when used in combination with a high level of loads. This feature offers formulators ease of formulation and the possibility to efficiently achieve specific coating properties. The resin is also easy to handle and is ideal for roller applications.
