Peru. The Municipality of Comas has already closed the Jhomeron SAC paint factory, which suffered serious damage due to the great fire that occurred last Wednesday.
The mayor said that the company failed to comply with security measures and had improperly expanded from 490 to 11,746 square meters the area indicated in its authorization certificate.
In the operation, a thorough inspection of the facilities was carried out, for which the company received two fines. The municipality also installed two health tents for neighbors to participate in screening for acute respiratory diseases resulting from pollution after the accident.
