Brazil. Heder Frigo has been chosen to be the new director of AkzoNobel in Brazil. He has more than 20 years of experience in multinationals, leading their respective business areas.
Previously, he served as CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of AkzoNobel in the country since 2011, leading the change of organizational model, the reorganization of teams and activities, making the Brazilian subsidiary a reference in other emerging markets of the company.
The executive replaces Jaap de Jong, who took on new roles at the company. "Taking this new position in the company, where I was already as CFO, is very proud and motivates me to further strengthen AkzoNobel's presence in the Brazilian market, with innovative initiatives highlighting issues such as urbanization and improving our cultural legacy. The entire AkzoNobel Brazil team is focused on contributing to sustainable development, maintaining the focus on our customers in order to strengthen the entire chain of the paints and coatings industry," said Frigo.
