From March 14 to 19, 2010, Nace Internacional, the Corrosion Society, will hold in San Antonio, Texas, the conference and exhibition Corrosion 2010, which will again deal with the different ways to mitigate the global effects of corrosion, since the current cost of this phenomenon of deterioration in the world is US $ 1.8 billion, according to the data presented by the World Corrosion Organization.The annual event will offer a wide range of meetings, workshops, forums and symposia for the more than five thousand industry players. The exhibition will be attended by 350 exhibitors from all over the world who complement the corrosion sector.
Corrosion 2010 will include special forums for the oil, gas & pipeline industries, as well as the Hazardous Materials Safety Management (PHMSA); water/wastewater, power generation and nuclear power, transmission and distribution; oil excavation and deep-sea exploration, marine coatings, shipbuilding, among others.
