The professional Marco Aurelio González has been appointed as Ambassador of the Glidden paint brand in Panama and at the same time will be the Personal Advisor to the General Director of PPG Comex Latin America.
The appointment of Marcus Aurelius coincides with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of Glidden's arrival in the Central American country. González has been linked to the paints sector for more than 37 years, he is a professional with a commercial career in the paints and coatings business in Panama.
The new Glidden Ambassador expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunities and challenges that will be presented to him with the company and said that "from the hand of an American company like PPG, Glidden comes with more strength and I did not want to be left out." He added that his main goal will be "to continue delivering the high-quality, innovative and sustainable solutions that our customers rely on to protect and beautify their products and spaces." His mission, he said, is to accompany Glidden on his way to the future: "Today Glidden is looking beyond to predict, plan and deliver the quality products and services that the Panamanian wants. This keeps us at the forefront of the paint industry and market. We see in Glidden unlimited opportunities."
