Responsibility is a word we know very well. Responsibility for our actions and with our tasks, corporate social responsibility towards others, the economy and the environment.
And it is on the last point that I want to emphasize. We all think we do something for ecology, we seek to consume less energy and water, recycle and use public transport, but in reality it goes far beyond that.
Ordinary people, those who affect the environment from their car, home or office can continue with the aforementioned practices, but the paints and coatings industry must be responsible, not only in the manufacture of the products, but in the application and use of them.
It is not a secret that there are still companies with products that do not meet what the specifications say, and it is not enough to say that the important thing is to make coatings and paints that do not affect humans or the environment, it must be done.
In our hands is the responsibility; we must apply and know the products that we know have materials that do not harm living beings, that help us take care of the environment and of course that have the performance we expect.
As an industry we must be responsible, unite work for it, let's start at home saving water and energy, but let's go to work, do the same and add sustainable creations and real applications. Let's encourage the end user to enter the replacement process and use products, which are still a little more expensive, meet performance parameters and are also eco-friendly.
With this letter I want to invite you to join us to do something for the environment, something that as I said is born from each one of us and I am sure that little by little we will achieve great results.
