Wishing everyone success, it is worth mentioning that the two largest countries in Latin America are preparing to bring together in a single space the most important companies in our sector, with the realization of three recognized fairs.
In the first place, the North American nation will live in June and July a time where paints and coatings will be the main protagonists. The National Association of Paint and Ink Manufacturers (Anafapyt) is preparing the LACS Expo, which will be held from June 30 to July 2 in Mexico City. In this space, INPRA LATINA will be present to approach again the entire community of the sector.
Later, from July 15 to 16, the usual Latin American Coatings Show will develop its exhibition, also in Mexico City.
This is a sign of Mexico's good present in the sector, which is currently the second most important country in Latin America in terms of the production of paints and coatings. Data from 2014, published by Anafapyt, indicate that the total volume of the Mexican market is 681,439,000 liters per year, and its per capita consumption is around 5.6 liters. Only surpassed by Brazil, whose per capita consumption is 8 liters.
The Mexican architectural market represents 55% of the total, while coatings for original manufactures such as original automotive paint, wood products, powder coating and metal fabrications, represent 20% of the total volume of the market, that is, 139 million 497 liters.
Brazil, on the other hand, although it is not going through its best economic moment, has everything ready for the realization of Abrafati 2015, an event that will take place from October 13 to 15 in Sao Paulo. Undoubtedly, this is the largest show in the region and there is concern about how this fair will behave, but always hoping that it will continue to be a benchmark for the industry.
