Clariant
Clariant introduces a number of new products for the paints and coatings industry. First up is the Exolit AP 435, a flame retardant that prolongs the life of water-based intumescent coatings without affecting their fire protection properties.
On the other hand, there is the fire protection ingredient Exolit 855 (TP) for transparent intumescent coatings on wood, it is a completely transparent, almost colorless solution, which allows its use even in woods of light tones.
There's also AddWorks IBC 251, an additive for powdered electrostatic coatings, providing an all-in-one solution for cost-effective formulations. It features a high electrostatic charge charge, along with protection against light and heat.
Next up is the Hostavin 1 TB-03, a synergistic combination of a high-performance UV absorber and an impeding amine light stabilizer (HALS).
Finally Clariant presents Licocare RBW, a new family of hard waxes based on renewable raw materials. Their various properties make them suitable for a wide range of applications, including coatings and inks, agricultural coatings and plastics processing.
