Colombia. The Association of Andean Technicians in Coatings (Star) reported that until November 30 it extended the deadline to receive conference proposals for the Andina Paint congress, which will be held on April 20 and 21 in the city of Medellín.
The congress in 2016 is designed with three seminars, an academic program with the presentation of nine talks presented in three simultaneous rooms; in addition, the hall dedicated to the demonstrations of the exhibitors.
The seminars will have the following themes:
- Application of technical concepts to the formulation of coatings in the Andean market, according to current international standards, presented by Milena Garay Tovar, from Eastern Michigan University.
- The future of coating design worldwide, presented by Julián Restrepo, from PPG Industries and columnist for Inpra Latina.
- Current regulations for paintings and an update to their recent changes", lecturer to be confirmed.
This congress is aimed at technical, marketing and sales, commercial directors; engineers and technologists of formulation, innovation and research, or development and production. Technical advisors and suppliers of the paints and coatings industry.
