United States. Sherwin Williams conducted a recent survey in which he sought to determine the colors that will be most used in home projects in that country, with the arrival of spring.
Preparing for projects related to the house:
• Seven out of 10 homeowners (69%) will undertake a house-related project in the next six months. Painting tops the list (42%), followed by gardening (41%) and redecoration (30%).
Looking for more color for the home:
• Two out of three homeowners (64%) would like to add more color to their home, especially in the living room (25%), bedroom (24%) and bathroom (17%).
• 58% of men are gravitating to add more color to their home.
Neutrals with a touch of color are the most popular:
• Nearly a third of people (32%) would like to use a warm neutral color palette, with a hint of red, yellow or brown.
• One in four (25%) show a preference for fresh neutrals, with a hint of blue or green.
• Women (24%) prefer a soft and light aesthetic, while men prefer warm neutrals (34%).
• Small homeowners between the ages of 18 and 34 want to use a rich, dark color palette (23%), while those over 65 prefer a soft, light palette (35%).
