Torrey Pines Scientific presents its new line of EchoTherm refrigerated incubators, vibration-free and ideal for protein crystallography and other laboratory uses.
There are two models. The fully programmable IN55 and the simple digital IN50, both have a capacity of 100 liters and are Peltier-based for cooling and heating. They adjust from 4.0ºC to 70.0ºC and have a PID temperature controller from ± 0.1°C, digital display of 0.1ºC and accuracy of ± 0.2ºC.
Incubators do not use compressors or CFCs. They have RS232 I/O port for remote control and data collection, digital timer, adjustable auto off, setting the gradual increase in temperature and audible alarms.
The camera size is 24" high by 20" deep and 14" wide. They come with eight stainless steel frames that can accommodate twelve. The racks are divided from front to back, leaving the medium for samples of different sizes.
