Japan. DuPont announced the expansion of the Automotive Center located in Nagoya and renamed it the Japan Innovation Center. The expansion and new name seeks to include other industries with a focus on the automotive sector.
The Innovation Center will create opportunities and space to showcase industry-specific innovations, the latest technology offerings, and trends to stimulate customer dialogue.
By working with local partners and connecting them through real-time video technology with the company's global network of 9,500 scientists, chemists and engineers working at more than 150 research and development centers around the world, the center will create an exchange of new ideas and an inclusive atmosphere that leads to innovative solutions faster.
The Nagoya center has been operating since 2005, has welcomed more than 9,400 visitors and generated more than 370 new innovations for customers in the automotive sector.
