The EchoTherm, SC20XR and XT Digital, and the SC25XR and XT Programmable Dry Cooling/Heating Orbit Mixer with Extended Temperature Range and Wide Power Range, are Torrey Pines Scientific's new launches. These units can cool or heat in a moment and move from one temperature to another much faster. XT models can go from -20ºC to 100ºC and XRs go from -10ºC to 110ºC, the latter, with its double power, can go from one temperature to another with 50% faster.
The orbital agitation motion is adjusted from 100 to 1000 rpm and is readable on a two-line display. Both units are digitally controlled, have a 30-day count back and alarm with configurable user timers auto-off. The RS232's I/O port collects the data and controls it via a PC. The SC25 is fully programmable and can develop five routines in 10 steps, stored in immediate memory to be used again.
