The new resin mixer has been designed and manufactured by Myers Engineering in order to handle hot epoxy samples.This equipment, which can process 15,000 centipoise of material in a double-shaft mixer installed by means of an elevator, has two blades, one is a low-speed cleaner that removes the product from the walls of the tank and the other is high speed for homogeneous mixing.
This operation is performed by means of a consolidated control station and an electrical heating system that helps conserve temperatures between 140 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, in addition to an explosion-resistant frame wraps the jacketed tank for safe operation.
